Huzzah!

After years of appeals and protests to the Lantau Tomorrow Vision, a sea reclamation project off Hong Kong's Lantau island that would displace thousands of residents who've lived in the neighborhood for generations, causing unforseen damages to the environment with the construction of the project and disturbing one of the few remaining natural habitats for the region's endangered pink dolphins, the voice of reason is being heard.

Take a quick look at the major threats pink dolphins are up against, in this excerpt from

Beneath the Surface Ocean Lovers' Chinese Lessons (episode 3):

Taking the irreversible environmental risks shown in countless reports along with people's voices into the final decision, thankfully, HK Development Minister, Bernadette Linn, has set developer interests aside and delayed the start date of the project. So let's keep working together to make sure good news like this keeps coming until coastal development projects like this become archaic relics of humanity's ecocidal past (WARNING: disturbingly violent images of Black Sea dolphins massacred at the cost of war shown in that final link).
