Huzzah!
After years of appeals and protests to the Lantau Tomorrow Vision, the voice of reason is being heard. The proposed sea reclamation project off Hong Kong's Lantau island that would displace thousands of residents who've lived in the neighborhood for generations, causing unforeseen damages to the environment with its construction, and disturbing one of the few remaining natural habitats for the region's endangered pink dolphins.

Taking the irreversible environmental risks shown in countless reports along with public comments into the final decision, thankfully, HK Development Minister, Bernadette Linn, has set developer interests aside and delayed the start date of the project.
